Top 5 Tips For Glowing Skin This Summer

1. Keep Yourself Hydrated

Apart from quenching your thirst, water really works wonders for your skin. A glass of water is all that you need to keep you hydrated throughout these warm months. Water also helps to detoxify your skin and keeps it soft and supple.

2. Cleansing

Cleansing gives your skin the moisture it needs, and also keeps it clean and free from dead skin cells. If you are using over the counter products, go for cleansers with Aloe Vera and cucumber bases. Another suggestion is mixing yogurt and honey to make a natural cleanser that will cleanse and moisturize your skin.
 

3. Toning

After cleansing, the next step for a perfect glowing skin is toning. While cleansing frees your skin from unwanted toxins, toning makes sure that your skin stays vibrant throughout the summer. Toning gives your skin the moisture it needs, and also keeps it clean and free from dead skin cells.

4. Moisturizing

When the sun shines bright on you, it sucks the moisture out of your body and skin, which can be extremely harmful in the long run. To prevent skin dehydration, make it a point to moisturize your skin well. Water-based moisturizers should always be preferred over oil-based ones as the oils used may not suit your skin type.

5. Yoga

All of the above steps will keep your skin glowing during the summer but yoga, undoubtedly, doubles the benefits. Early-morning yoga exposes your skin to fresh air. It also increases blood circulation in your body and boosts blood supply. If you can't devote much time for yoga, make sure that you walk as much as you can during the day. That will also help your blood circulation.

How To: Sun-Kissed Glow

Glowing skin is what summer is all about, but you don't have to risk sun damage to achieve a bronzed complexion. Here are 5 tips for bronzing success:

1. Bronzer should be lightly applied all over your face .
2. Pick the right color. You should not choose from a line that only has one bronzer. The correct product should be two to three shades darker than your facial skin. Use a sponge or applicator to apply the bronzer to the top of your arm. The inside of your arm is too pale to tell if it is the right color. If it blends into your arm, you've got a winner! 
3. Powder for most skin types will give it a matte velvety look. All bronzers should be matte, not shimmer. An all-over shimmer will flatten your face, not highlight the key features.
4. Applicator is key! For powder bronzer, dip a large brush into the loose powder and tap off the excess. For liquid or gel bronzers, dispense a small amount of the product to the tip of your fingers and then pat your fingers and palms together until the product is dispersed evenly. Take your time when applying bronzer and you will end with a beautifully bronzed look.
5. To achieve the total sun-kissed look, add a bit of blush. Apply a brighter pink or coral color to the apples of your cheeks. Use cream for dry skin types. This is the completing step makeup artists use to obtain a perfect glam glow.
